Neighborhood Choir Program for Older Adults and Adults with Disabilities

CMC developed our Neighborhood Choir Program for Older Adults and Adults with Disabilities to provide the many personal, social, artistic, and quality of life benefits that music can bring.

Learn more about our program’s partners, history, and successes by visiting Community Partnerships.

The program has grown as choirs have cycled out of the Community of Voices research study led by UCSF in partnership with CMC and DAS. For information on the study click HERE. To download the Program Manual for organizing an older adult choir program, visit the UCSF Community of Voices Program Manual. More information may be found in this article published in the Grantmakers in the Arts Reader.

This program is funded by the City of San Francisco’s Department of Disability and Aging Services.
