Power of Song in Community Building and Social Connection

Join journalist and AARP volunteer David Louie for a conversation with leaders and members of the San Francisco Community Music Center Neighborhood Choir Program for Older Adults and Adults with Disabilities: Choir Director Beth Wilmurt, OMI-Catholic Charities Choir Member Al Eng, Program Director Sylvia Sherman, and Choir Coordinator Tim Costigan.

Learn how song has helped bring older adults and adults with disabilities together, aiding in the effort to stave off social isolation and loneliness and improve wellness. Discover how you can start a neighborhood choir in your own community.
