The CMC Openhouse LGBTQ+ Choir—a collaboration with Openhouse,whose mission is to enable San Francisco Bay Area LGBTQ+ seniors to overcome the unique challenges they face as they age by providing housing, direct services and community programs—is part of CMC’s Neighborhood Choir Program for Older Adults and Adults with Disabilities. Community Music Center partners with 15 Neighborhood and Senior Centers throughout the city. The tuition-free program is primarily supported by the San Francisco Department of Disability and Aging Services (DAS).
