Join us for Field Day 2022, a spectacular in-person performathon, plus a two-day virtual performathon (for those who prefer an online option). Field Day 2022 will be a celebration of music, community, and CMC’s Centennial, raising money for CMC scholarships and honoring the visionary founding director behind CMC, Gertrude Field. We’re excited to welcome some local radio personalities as special guest emcees at our in-person performathon: Chasta (107.7 The Bone) and Paul “Paulie Mac” McCaffrey (KNBR Radio)!

Please find performer schedules for Field Day 2022 below and share with friends and family:
For virtual performances, tune in to the YouTube links included on the schedules or listed above. For in-person performances, join us at the CMC Concert Hall—it’s free and open to all! Participants will receive direct communications from CMC Staff about their performances and directions for checking in for the in-person event. If you have any important changes to your performance or notice any mistakes, please contact Chantel Hernandez at chernandez@sfcmc.org.
The Field Day Performathon is like a walkathon. CMC students and faculty sign up to perform and ask family, friends, neighbors, and/or local businesses to sponsor them by donating. All donations go directly to CMC scholarships and tuition assistance program. Performathon participants collect donations online through their online donation pages. For assistance with your online profile or collecting donations, contact Jackie Bosch, Development Assistant at jbosch@sfcmc.org.
1. Perform solo or with an ensemble. (Ensembles can be CMC classes, pick-up groups formed for the day, or your own group!)
2. Join the audience and come to the open house.
3. Make a donation to support the Performathon. Once you register, submit either an In-Person Field Day Performer Information Form or Virtual Field Day Performer Information Form by May 6, 2022.
Field Day performers will be raising money for scholarships at CMC. We have some great fundraising prizes for everyone who raises $10 or more!
Every performer who raises:
Grand Prize (to the highest fundraiser) One year of private 30-minute lessons at CMC
Grand Prize (to the person who has the most people sponsoring them) $100 gift certificate to Limón.
Need some fundraising tips? Stay tuned for helpful hints, talking points, and easy ways to get the word out!
