A new program that teaches beginning music and instrumental fundamentals in a fun group environment.
These step-by-step classes provide progressive opportunities to develop additional skills like learning to play with others in an ensemble, easing young musicians into more advanced playing. These programs will give students the skills and confidence to join other CMC youth ensemble classes.
CMC Sparks classes are sequential, encouraging students to continue for at least three consecutive quarters (Level I, II, and III).
There are currently no CMC Sparks classes for summer. Stay tuned as we prepare our Fall Quarter schedules, when beginning youth classes will resume!

Youngest music-makers can join our Music for Children class for a more generalized introduction to musical concepts beginning at age 4.
