Tristana Ferreyra-Rantalaiho

(2023). Tristana Ferreyra-Rantalaiho has a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from San Francisco State University, where her mentor was Christine Brandes, and an undergraduate degree in choral conducting from Universidad Católica Argentina, where she studied under Néstor Andrenacci. She loves to premiere vocal works by new composers as a soloist and with choirs. Apart from her early music and classical music repertoire, she has sung Argentinian tango, bossa nova, and Kurt Weill’s music. She has worked as a singer and choral conductor in Argentina and Finland and moved to California in 2016, continuing teaching and performing. She sang in Convivium in the Bay Area and is now in the 21V ensemble. She has her private voice studio and teaches voice at different non-profit organizations in the Bay Area. She is a native Spanish speaker, and she is fluent in Finnish.
