(2022). Karlson Can is a recent graduate with a B.A. in Music from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and will begin working with CMC’s Young Musicians Program as a teaching assistant. In his private studio, he focuses heavily on body mechanics and how music is a unique experience for everyone. With experience in Baroque and modern cello, Karlson is on a musical journey to highlight the accomplishments of Asian and Asian American composers in the modern cello repertoire.
