Julia performs regularly with the Philharmonia Baroque Chorale and 21V New Music Ensemble.Most recently she sang the title role in Luisa Miller with Verismo Opera, and Cleopatra in GiulioCesare with the Handel Opera Academy in Poland. She has also sung with Opera San José, Odyssey Opera, Sequoia Symphony, Tanglewood Festival Chorus, Boston Pops, Boston Symphony Orchestra, and the Back Bay Chorale.

Julia is equally at home in contemporary music and the commercial industry. In Los Angeles, she worked as a session vocalist for many radio commercials and television appearances, most notably as a guest performer on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Julia began playing piano and singing at an early age with her musical family. She has Masters and Bachelors degrees in Vocal Performance. With over fifteen years of experience in teaching, Julia has worked with students in classical, broadway, and contemporary repertoire. She also has many students that combine piano and voice studies.

Julia has taught voice and piano for over fifteen years in Massachusetts and California, including at the New Mozart School of Music. She enjoys coaching piano students on proper technique, note reading, musicianship, and artistry, primarily with Bastien, Alfred and Hanon methods. She also works with students to prepare them for recitals.
