Joshua Saulle

(2019). Joshua Saulle has taught piano, composition, theory, and musicianship in San Francisco since 2007, and is honored and excited to be joining SFCMC. His goals as a teacher are: to equip each student with the technique, musicality, and knowledge that will allow them to explore and appreciate the widest possible range of music; to instill excitement, curiosity and fascination about every aspect of music and musical practice, and ultimately, to help each student fulfill their highest musical potential and aspirations, and lay the foundation for an enduring and rewarding personal relationship with music.

Joshua holds graduate degrees in composition from the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where he also studied piano with Alla Gladysheva. As a composer, his music has been performed and recognized from New York to Los Angeles, including many premieres and performances in the Bay Area. Joshua is also an avid choral singer, and has performed with, conducted and/or composed for Bay Area groups Resound Ensemble, Mouthscape, and the International Orange Chorale of San Francisco.
