Celebrate remembrance, memory, and joy with us on Capp Street. Join the Songs & Stories Intergenerational Choir, co-presented by CMC & Ruth’s Table, for an afternoon honoring Día de los Muertos through music, storytelling, art, and live performances!
Songs and Stories: The After Party! — led by Beth Wilmurt and Rowena Richie, featuring a mixed-age ensemble of performers with live accompaniment, paired with a collaborative mural guided by Bill Bruckner.
Additional performances and activities include:
- community altar led by artists Monica Lee & Aiko Cuneo, built with offerings from neighbors and friends
- dazzling drag performance by Carlotta DiCarlo, celebrating Latinx legacy and culture
- original dance by CarOlé Flamenco, incorporating flamenco and contemporary movement to reflect on today’s cultural and political landscape
- friends and light refreshments
