HISTORY MATTERS IN THE MISSION: 2010–2020
Musicians from Mission District Young Musicians Program (MDYMP) and Son Jarocho Music, led by Maria de la Rosa, will join Paseo Artístico with an outdoor musical performance of Latin music in the Calle 24 Latino Cultural District this March 14 in Celebration of International Women’s Day.

Acción Latina presents Paseo Artistico, the free bilingual community art stroll on 24th Street in the Mission District. Women Are the Heart of Our Culture Celebrates International Women’s Day by featuring a powerful multidisciplinary, multigenerational and diverse line up of women artists who change the cultural landscape with their creativity and passion. The event will span multiple venues on 24th Street in the Mission District, with a curated schedule of visual art, live music, dance, photography and memoirs of womens’ militancy. Each presentation illuminates the radical and passionate creativity of Bay Area women artists..Free for the entire family.
