MDYMP in Carnaval Grand Parade

CMC’s Mission District Young Musicians Program (MDYMP) will perform traditional Latin music at this year’s annual favorite Carnaval San Francisco Festival, performing on the festival stage and marching in the grand parade with our contingent of musicians from our SFUSD Partners.

  • MDYMP Performance: Saturday, May 24 at 11am @ 22nd @ Harrison Street Stage
  • MDYMP in the Grand Parade: Sunday, May 25 from 10am–2pm accompanied by our SFUSD Partners Thurgood Marshall High School and Dolores Huerta Elementary.

Parade starts on 24th & Bryant Street travels west on to Mission Street then on Mission Street travels north to 15th Street.

Carnaval San Francisco is a multicultural celebration of music, dance, and artistry that since 1979 has showcased Latin American culture and the talents of Mission District residents in an atmosphere of harmony and revelry.
