CMC’s Mission District Young Musicians Program (MDYMP) will perform traditional Latin music at this year’s Día de los Niños festival.

San Francisco’s Día de los Niños, Día de los Libros: A Celebration of Children & Books is rooted in a longtime Latin American tradition of celebrating children and promoting literacy and unifying families of all cultures, through a community-based, child-centered event. Families can enjoy world dance, music, theater, storytelling and most importantly the opportunity to engage in hands-on exploration and learning. Get a library card and check-out books from the San Francisco Public Library Bookmobile, choose from a variety of literacy-related arts and crafts, and take home free multilingual books.
