Giving Tuesday @ CMC

This year, Community Music Center celebrates a major milestone: our expanded Mission District campus is open, providing more space to welcome new students. This new facility is more than just bricks and mortar—it’s a dynamic space where creativity flourishes, connections are made, and lives are transformed.

As our city faces ongoing challenges, CMC continues to address some of the most critical issues: the loneliness epidemic, educational disparities, and the need for economic revitalization. Through music, we build bridges between people of all ages and backgrounds, creating a sense of belonging and purpose.

Last year, our community raised more than $50,000 in on Giving Tuesday! Seeing the outflowing of support last year, we have increased our goal to $60,000 this year. With your help, and a generous $30,000 matching gift from CMC’s Board of Directory, we know we can do it again! Your support will help CMC remain a steady source of joy, connection, and creativity in San Francisco. Plus, as a special thank-you, anyone who donates $100 or more will receive a CMC umbrella to prepare for the rainy winter ahead and help us save for a rainy day.

Rain or shine, your generosity keeps the music alive.

What is Giving Tuesday? GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of radical generosity. GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Since then, it has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

Join the movement and give, whether it’s some of your time, a donation, or the power of your voice in your local community. It’s a simple idea: every act of generosity counts and everyone has something to contribute toward building the better world we all want to live in.
