Erick Peralta Quartet performs at the 35th Fillmore Jazz Festival – the Harlem of the West. Bringing together his myriad musical experiences and influences, CMC faculty member, Peruvian American jazz artist Erick Peralta presents his mix of modern jazz and Afro-Latin American folkloric traditions. The program will highlight original compositions inspired by this blended perspective, as well as arrangements in tribute to some of the most iconic jazz and Latin composers from the 20th century.
