Ensemble for These Times: Mujeres ahora

Award-winning contemporary chamber music group Ensemble for These Times (E4TT) celebrates contemporary Latina composers to close its 17th season. A preview for E4TT’s next recording, the program features compositions by Gabriela Lena Frank, Tania León, Carla Lucero, Claudia Montero, Angélica Negrón, and Gabriela Ortiz. A pre-concert talk with Bay Area composer Carla Lucero kicks off the evening.

Ensemble for These Times
Founded in 2007, E4TT’s mission is to perform 20th- and 21st-century music that resonates with today’s world. Women creators are an ongoing primary focus. E4TT has toured internationally and recorded five albums, each medaling in the Global Music Awards. E4TT was the winner of The American Prize for Chamber Music Performance in 2021.
