Paul McMath

(2019) Paul received his BM from the SF Conservatory of Music, and furthered studies his in ethno-musicology in Berlin at the Universitaet der Kunst, and the history of western music theory and Schenkerian analysis in Vienna at the Universitaet fuer Musik und Darstellende Kunst. He has worked as a freelance accompanist for singers, choirs and string players performing standard repertoire as well as contemporary standards. He has worked in a variety of pedagogical settings as accompanist/performer, and has been an accompanist for CMC students and faculty, as well as stand-in instructor for CMC group programs. Also speaks German.
