Grace Huenemann

2018. Grace Huenemann,  BA Carleton College, MM San Francisco State University. Returned to the Community Music Center faculty in the fall of 2018 after teaching at Convent and Stuart Hall Music Conservatory, New School of Piano, and Community School of Music and Arts in Mountain View.  Previously taught at CMC (1993-2003) and was a staff member (1970-1988) in roles ranging from Registrar to Acting Director, Finance and Development Officer and Development Director. Performs in the annual CMC Keyboard Marathons and produced the Marathon in 2009 (Dances), 2010 (Chopin and Schumann) and 2011 (The Four Bs).  Executive Director of Community School of Music and Arts in Mountain View (1988-90), and Coordinator of the Convent and Stuart Hall Music Conservatory (2001-16). Studied with Adolph Baller, Gudrun Hansen, Adelaide Banaszynski, Carol Nott, and Ansgar Janke of the Musikhochschule in Munich. Winner in the Milwaukee “Talenteens” competition and the “Ten Pianos” concert of the Minnesota Music Teachers Association.  Lived in Munich 1990-93, also speaks German.
