Eva “Nena” Aldaz

(2019) MDYMP Vocal Coach and CMC Voice Faculty. Mezzo-soprano Nena Aldaz earned a Bachelors of Music from the University of California, Irvine, and is currently working on her Masters of Music from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. As an MDYMP alumna, she is excited to give back to her community. She works with an eclectic mix of styles for voice, including classical, Latin, and pop.

She has served communities by singing at retirement homes, benefit concerts, and schools. She has performed a wide variety of roles in musical theater, opera, and a cappella. She has performed internationally in Mexico with the San Miguel Institute of Bel Canto and in Germany with Music Theater Bavaria. She hopes to help her students discover their own musical voice through healthy vocal technique, optimal body alignment, and strong musicianship skills. Also speaks Spanish.
