Community Music Center is excited to present a Mariachi Instrument Petting Zoo during the pre-concert exhibit and activities at this year’s Día de los Muertos festivities at Davies Symphony Hall. Both children and adults will be able to participate in this immersive musical experience, led by CMC’s Mariachi faculty and Mariachi professional Daphne González-Cambambia. She will bring a group of young players to demonstrate four Mariachi string instruments – guitar, vihuela, guitarrón, and violin – and guests will be instructed on how to properly hold and play them.
