Irene Giovannetti

(2024). Introduction to Piano Classes. Irene began playing piano at eight years old and took up trumpet a few years later. While she dedicated herself to classical music, she was also immersed in genres like country rock and traditional Mexican music.

She earned bachelor’s degrees in piano and trumpet from the Conservatory P. Mascagni in Livorno, Italy, before specializing in trumpet through postgraduate studies in Florence and attending seminars and masterclasses across Italy. Irene is now pursuing a master’s degree in trumpet performance at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.

With extensive teaching experience, Irene offers piano and trumpet lessons to students of all ages. She particularly enjoys working with young children, fostering their passion for music through a personalized approach that celebrates each student’s unique potential. Fluent in English, Italian, and Spanish, she creates an inclusive and welcoming learning environment.

Irene’s teaching philosophy emphasizes building a strong technical foundation while keeping lessons engaging and fun. She aims to inspire students with her passion for music, nurturing their growth and helping them develop a lifelong love for learning and self-expression.
