Sonja Riket, a Registered Master Somatic Movement Therapist/Educator®, is a Certified Feldenkrais® and Body-Mind Centering® Teacher. Her passion for dance and music began at age four and blossomed into a professional dance career spanning 30 years and four continents, where she performed with some of the best modern dance companies in Europe and New York City.

For two decades she has been teaching somatic methods for dancers, musicians and general public of all ages and abilities. Sonja has a private practice and is a guest lecturer at SFSU. Her course “Embodiment and Expression for Musicians” in group or private lessons, offers tools for injury prevention, rehabilitation and musical expression. She teaches somatically inspired Argentine Tango dance and co-hosts the monthly CMC Mission Milonga: an Argentine Tango social dance gathering with local and international Tango musicians and dancers.
