CMC offers weekly, individual music therapy for children and adults with special needs. This program is suitable for people with physical, emotional, cognitive and social challenges. Our experienced board certified music therapists are person-centered and provide a platform for individuals of all abilities to achieve personal growth. Clients may develop musical skills and awareness as they work toward their goals. Based on the assessment and input from client and parent/caregiver, an individualized treatment plan may be requested.
Ages: Children ages 6–12, teens, adults
Prerequisites: To begin the enrollment process, please complete the Music Therapy Intake Form online or at your nearest branch. CMC’s Music Therapy Coordinator will call you to discuss program eligibility.
The first session for new students will be an assessment. The parent or the caregiver is required to be present. The parent or caregiver may be required to attend all sessions in the quarter. Following the fourth session, the music therapist will complete an initial assessment report and reassess annually thereafter.

Annual Assessment Fee:
$99.75 (in addition to tuition) This fee is for the music therapist to provide an initial assessment for new students and an annual assessment for continuing students which will summarize therapist observations and recommendations.
