Following Shelter-in-Place guidelines and event precautions of the City of San Francisco, we’re moving Field Day to a digital platform in the best interest of the health and safety of our beloved community. Don’t worry, the show will go on…line! Field Day 2020 will take place June 1–June 7 with a week-long broadcast of our Field Day performer videos shared on Facebook and YouTube.
Field Day is CMC’s extravaganza of music and community with a school-wide Performathon, raising money for scholarships and tuition assistance, and celebrating our beloved institution and the visionary founder behind it, Gertrude Field.
Strike up the BANDwidth, because we want YOU to be the stars of the show! Getting involved takes three simple steps:
Field Day 2020 is dedicated to the memory of Nancy Livingston, tireless arts advocate.
Monday, June 1–Sunday, June 7 at 12 noon
Are you ready for a whole week of music and community?! View the general broadcast schedule here. Click through the tabs to view the list for each day. Please note the order for each day may be updated as needed. Final program details will be available for audiences on the day of the broadcast.
Virtual Field Day presents Shenson Salons: free, online, evening concerts from the Shenson Faculty Concert Series. These short concerts will be broadcast on online and streamed on Facebook on June 1, 2, 3, and 4 at 5:30pm. Follow the links below to RSVP and receive a link to the live broadcast.
The Field Day Performathon is like a walkathon. CMC students and faculty sign up to perform and ask family, friends, neighbors, and/or local businesses to sponsor them by donating. All donations go directly to CMC scholarships and tuition assistance program. Performathon participants can either collect donations online or offline.
Contact Adriana Marrero if you have questions about performing at firstname.lastname@example.org
