Rebecca Rodríguez

(2023). Rebecca Rose Rodriguez is a First-Generation Colombian American percussionist. She has studied Latin percussion including conga, bongo, timbal, maracas, guiro, chekere, cajón, and more. She plays in the Afro Cuban Jazz Ensemble at SF State University and runs an all-femme salsa band out of the Mission District. Rebecca has played many wonderful shows including events at Yerba Buena Gardens, SF Jazz, Golden Gate Park Bandshell, Jazz on the Hill, Festival Internacional de Jazz en Cuba, and more. She is a bilingual teacher accepting all ages for lessons on Latin Percussion.
