(2018) Young Musician Program Orchestra and Music Theory Instructor. Bachelor of Music in Music Education, SFSU; Daniel is in his third season as an instructor with SF Symphony’s Adventures in Music program and preschool music teacher with Music In Schools Today.
As a bassist he has performed at Carnegie Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Davies Symphony Hall and SFJAZZ in a variety of genres, from Argentine tango to French chanson to American R&B. Daniel started his musical journey in San Francisco in 2000 at the CMC as a student in Chus Alonso’s Afro-Cuban ensemble and is thrilled to be returning to the concert hall as an instructor. When he’s not playing or teaching music, Daniel loves cooking, hiking and doing yoga.
