As a teacher, my goal has always been to encourage students to think independently so they can solve problems for themselves. It is imperative to me that my students apply piano skills to their educational pursuits. It would also benefit them to reflect on their musical progress and practice expressing their thoughts. I aim to demonstrate how music can help students build and gain confidence in their lives outside of achieving their music milestones and shining on stage.
