Katelyn Tan

(2018) An alumni of the Ruth Asawa San Francisco School of the Arts and the University of the Pacific, Katelyn Tan is an active performer and collaborative pianist in the Bay Area. Her awards include: 2nd Prize in the Fine Arts Festival Romantic Music Competition, honorable mention from the American Protege International Piano and Strings Competition, as well as participation in the 2016 Gijon Piano Festival. She has also participated in master classes with pianists including: Mack McCray, Robert Shannon, Gabriela Martinez, Stanislav Kristenko, Jon Nakamatsu, and Satoko Inoue.

Tan has also been an accompanist at the University of the Pacific. She is currently a pianist for the SF Ballet, the Alonzo King LINES Ballet, and the Berkeley Ballet Theatre.
